RSS Publish API

RSS creates a machine-readable view of your content. A feed can be generated from the same approved records that produce a website without becoming a separate hosted publishing product.

START WITH INTENTION

A practical starting point

Decide which content belongs in the feed and give entries stable identities. Use complete public URLs so links and assets remain meaningful outside the website.

Sharing source material does not make every channel identical. A newsletter is an edited issue, an RSS feed is a machine-readable publication surface, and a social post is a destination-specific adaptation. These routes focus on the editorial relationship between those outputs and the approval or delivery boundaries that must remain visible.

Keep the boundary clear

Parse the final XML and inspect a sample in a reader. Align publication dates with article pages and choose full content or useful summaries. A feed does not guarantee immediate delivery to every reader.

Concepts, not a bundled service

This is an editorial guide to RSS Publish API. Evaluate the pattern against your actual destination, permissions, and operating requirements. PublishAPI.com does not provide a live connector, endpoint, or account for this topic.

Turn the idea into a reviewable plan

Name the canonical home of a story before adapting it. Decide whether each channel receives full content, a summary, or an original introduction. Inspect its actual reading surface and plan how corrections will be handled. Use the RSS guide for feeds and the Ghost newsletter guide for a coordinated website-and-issue workflow.
